Fans of this company still do not understand this decision.

This hasn't been Sony's best year in terms of releases and games in general. The company has already hinted that 2025 will bring more important announcements that have yet to be revealed. For example, this year PlayStation confirmed the launch of Concord, a new PvP hero shooter.

However, fans' first impressions of this game were overwhelmingly negative, as they did not understand the company's decision to finance a project of this nature. This is mainly due to the oversaturation of this type of game in the industry, which could have freed up resources for titles like Twisted Metal or The Last of Us Online.

In an industry that is more than saturated with certain game genres and many live service titles, PlayStation is once again investing in this with the release of Concord, a first-person action game that will be very similar to what Overwatch once offered.
