While you'll find me mostly writing about Android, apps, and occasionally Vision Pro, I've been deep into gaming for years now. That's why when I get to review gaming laptops like the MSI Stealth 14 Studio A13V; it gives me immense joy. So when Colorful launched its Evol P15 series of laptops in India, I thought of reviewing it again. The lineup seemed so interesting that Beebom ended up buying this basic variant from Flipkart. Little did we know that this colorful laptop would only push us into a grayscale void of frustration. This is how it developed.

The variant cost us just Rs. 62,539 with introductory bank offers and all. Normally the laptop goes for Rs. 69,990. It comes with Intel Core i5 12th Gen 12450H CPU, 6GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. All this for that price was pretty incredible, to be honest. So we placed the order on April 25th and…

When it arrived, we just wanted to get through the setup as quickly as possible and get into the game. But guess what? The laptop could not turn on. So, as any person in such a situation would do, we unplugged and reconnected the charger a gazillion times and even kept it plugged in for a while to try again later. Well, it didn't work. It was officially time to replace the laptop and on the same day (which is 30th April) we put the request on Flipkart.

A day later, a Flipkart representative came to initiate the refund request. But it turns out that the serial number of the laptop we received did not match the one on the invoice. What? In any case, as a result, the request for compensation was rejected. But after spending quite some time on the phone with Flipkart people, they realized whose fault it was (I think) and agreed to replace the product on May 3rd, and…
