Also, they always have to balance a lot of character introductions and stories. With these requirements in mind, the list of capable people has been reduced considerably.
There have been whispers of the Russo brothers' return, and fans couldn't be happier. However, it appears that another Marvel legend was also offered the role but turned it down.
