If there's one area in Android where Google has introduced drastic additions and changes in recent Android version updates, it has to be in the security department. While no operating system can be 100% "secure," Android's latest feature additions make it difficult, especially for fraudsters, to get away with their business. Here are the five great fraud protection features on Android you need to know about.

Stop your Android from SPYING on you!

Android's built-in screen recording feature gets significantly better thanks to OTP and login protection features. The features are part of the Android 15 beta and may soon be available in the stable version. When enabled, Android hides notifications that contain OTPs or screens where you have to enter credentials and credit card numbers during screen recording.

The function is not only convenient, but also saves you from the trouble of editing your login details or card number if you often record your phone's display and post the content online, preventing fraudsters from accessing your information.

Android's screen recorder now defaults to recording a single app option, while the option to record the entire screen is in the drop-down menu. The feature was first available in a new version of Android 14 QPR and is easily one of the best available for preventing fraud.
