Future Trunks' timeline was a sad experience for Dragon Ball fans. So far, moments from the alternate but cruel reality have the power to leave viewers speechless. And Future Gohan was just a hard punch to the stomach, and suddenly everything seemed to fall into despair.
The evil Android pair are eventually defeated in the series, but the death of Goku's son still bothers a bit. Things might have been different, obviously, but he didn't have to go the way he did in the anime. Thanks to the 2020 CyberConnect2 video game, he got the farewell he deserved.
It's not just the justice that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot does to the characters from the series; the game is more than that. It recreates many moments that deliver nostalgia to the players, and some of them are just better than the original anime.
