DB: SPARKING ZERO – Review of all special editions
"Special Beam Cannon" – all Dragon Ball fans can hear those words while picturing Piccolo with his index finger close to his forehead, charging Ki before saying them. Of the many energy attacks used in the series, this technique holds a special place in fans' hearts.
As one of Piccolo's signature attacks, it was a no-brainer for Spike Chunsoft to include it in their upcoming game. But there is a catch, and an interesting one at that. It appears to be a penetrating beam in the series, but Sparking Zero literally bent it.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero gets a lot of things right, and twist too. Although Piccolo's signature attack doesn't actually bounce off the ground, it does in the latest Bandai Namco game. And it looks spectacular.
