Is Valorant a hard game to get into? Yes and no.

Console Valorant Beginner's Guide + Gameplay (BETA)

Riot Games' Valorant expands its reach with the launch of console beta. The influx of new players has marked the steep learning curve for them. Newcomers often face opponents with significantly higher skill levels.

One player shared their experiences and said that even at level 20 they often found themselves fighting level 120 players or even smurfs. This makes it difficult to learn from mistakes and improve because of the large skills gap. This problem is particularly evident in the game's unranked mode.

Players have noted that the experience in Unrated mode is particularly harsh. Unlike competitive games, which have some level of matchmaking based on skill, Unrated seems to throw players into games without regard for balance.
