Among legendary weapons, the Masterwork Handbow is the best equipment for characters using a crit build. As a legendary gun, it can be a little annoying to farm, but it's definitely worth it.
Masterwork Handbow can be obtained by defeating Captain Swallow, a mini-boss of Shrine Piece – Grindana. It's a rare drop, but the drop rate isn't the worst, so it shouldn't take you many tries. That doesn't mean farming will be fast – you have to restart the whole place every time you want to fight the Captain Whale, and each attempt takes about 4 minutes.
Masterwork Handbow fires 6 crossbolts, which ricochet at other enemies on a critical hit. The weapon only holds one bolt of ammo in the magazine, but it automatically reloads on every critical hit. In addition to that, if a crossbolt sticks to your target, each one will increase the damage dealt by the crossbolts by 3%.
