Tower of Fantasy takes place on a post-apocalyptic anime-style planet called Aida. The story is during a time when humanity is forced to abandon Earth and is about to find a new world for humanity to live in, where they found Aida.

At the beginning of the game, you start on a small island called Astra to begin the tutorial. The tutorial will walk you through combat mechanics, how to do missions and allow you to fight enemies. It also allows you to get treasures by clearing ruins and defeating mini-bosses.
