Like any new game, especially an MMORPG, the first playthrough tends to be confusing, especially if you plan to optimize your first playthrough. And usually it's the various gimmicks like equipment enhancement and/or stat distribution to make your character stronger.
In this guide, we'll take things step by step to better understand the gear system before we all head out to explore the world of Tower of Fantasy on August 10th.
Gears are your equipment in Tower of Fantasy. The game allows you to equip up to 8 gears on your character. These are headgear, shoulder protection, body protection, wrist protection, belts, leg protection, gloves and boots. These gears are classified by how rare they are. The higher the rarity of equipment, the better stats and protection it provides overall.
