The ghosts can no longer be ignored

This week's episode of True Detective: Night Country opens with some clever audio editing, as the white noise of the HBO logo blends seamlessly with Police Chief Liz Danvers' (Jodie Foster) white noise machine, at her bedside, and fails to relax. her. It's Christmas Eve and Anne's cries for help are about to be joined by a choir.

"Part 4" of Night Country is the most haunted hour of the season, the ghosts on the periphery of the series taking place, even if its protagonists continue to deny them. The emotional core of the episode rests on Navarro's sister Julia (Aka Niviâna), whom Danvers finds walking in the snow without a coat and shivering through some kind of episode.
