Dragon Ball DAIMA is just a few months away from release, and as fans found themselves questioning the series' bittersweet marketing tactics, anticipation was still building. The anime would mark a legacy after the passing of Akira Toriyama with many eyes on it. Much was yet to be revealed about the anime when it seems all hell broke loose in an instant.
Things were looking pretty good with SDCC releasing some merchandise, although underwhelming, things went awry at a moment's notice. The marketing was one that fans had criticized the longest but it was what happened after that made things worse in every possible way. Leaks of the anime found themselves online after being revealed on Discord.
It has recently come to light that an animator from Toei Animation allegedly leaked the character sheets for Dragon Ball DAIMA. While things had been kept under wraps for the longest time, these leaks came out of nowhere. Suddenly Mira from Xenoverse appeared to be part of Goku's team and the backlash increased.
