There is a wide variety of weapons to choose from in V Rising. However, the best weapons to use will ultimately depend on your personal preference and playstyle.

V Rising has seven different weapon categories, of which 6 are melee and 1 is ranged. These are the sword, axe, spear, cleavers, reaper, mace and crossbow. But whether you focus solely on PVE or PVP, you need to choose your weapon to effectively handle any situation.

That said, if you're going to ask me which is the best weapon in V Rising, it would be the sword. The reason is simple: it has a fast attack speed and its abilities are excellent for both dodging and chasing enemies.

While several weapons such as the spear can also do it excellently, it lacks the mobility of the sword.
