Leather is a pretty important material during the early parts of V Rising. You will need lots of it to craft a variety of armor as well as items that will help make your progression much easier.
V Rising Leather Location (Works in 2024 on version 1.0)
Leather allows you to craft different armor and items early in the game. However, the game will not tell you how to obtain these materials. Therefore, it can be quite confusing how to proceed in the early game. That's why I've created this guide to solve that problem.
If you go a little further into the game, you will eventually need stronger armor. This will help you survive attacks from higher level enemies. However, to craft these armors, you must first acquire a lot of leather. Or in this case, create it.
To craft leather, you need to build the tannery inside your castle. However, you can only unlock it after defeating Keely the Frost Archer found in the Bandit Trapper Camp. After defeating her, you will then be able to build the tannery along with some recipes that require leather as a material.
