Deadlock risks becoming the next Apex Legends if Valve doesn't get ahead of the situation.

Apex Legends' new rival deadlock is a big problem for EA

Deadlock is an ambitious online multiplayer developed by Valve for the PC platform. The game has been in active development for a while and the developers formally announced it last month without any details on the official release date. More and more online multiplayer games are coming out of the woodwork, and the latest discovery about Valve's project could indicate that this will follow in the footsteps of other games that fail to combat hackers and cheaters.

Cheating can ruin a player's experience, and seeing this activity early in the game's development phase is not good. Valve should take this issue seriously and take countermeasures to discourage cheaters from continuing this nefarious activity.

Competitive online multiplayer games dominate the gaming industry and there are too many options to choose from. Not all of these projects will succeed, let alone last a year, unless the developers do something creative and uphold player decency and ethics. Some early playtesters discovered various ways to get suspended in Deadlock by abusing the pause feature which could easily be used for cheating.
