Lockpicking in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is pretty easy. Unlike in other games, there is no mini-game or anything like that for lockpicking. Lockpicking is entirely a stat control in this game.
To unlock, you first need a lock pick. You get one for free from the tutorial. If you skip the tutorial, you can purchase a lockpick from Trip's Pawnshop in Santa Monica. It costs $90 to buy.
