Matt Damon rose to stardom after starring in the critically acclaimed 1997 drama Good Will Hunting, but despite its critical and commercial success, he has no plans to make a follow-up.

He starred in Gus Van Sant's masterpiece alongside fellow Cambridge natives Ben Affleck, Robin Williams, Stellan Skarsgård and Minnie Driver. It received nine Academy Award nominations and won two, including Best Supporting Actor for Williams and Best Screenplay for Damon and Affleck.

While speaking with Collider, actor Matt Damon refuted claims that they have been accused of creating a sequel to Good Will Hunting.
