Learn how Feng Ji's vision and perseverance overcame great challenges to create a global gaming phenomenon, Black Myth: Wukong.

We CANNOT ignore Black Myth Wukong

When Black Myth: Wukong was first announced, it was one of the most ambitious projects, challenging both the expectations of the gaming community with its meticulous attention to detail and the capabilities of the Chinese developers. This action RPG aimed to blend the rich history of Chinese mythology with cutting edge technology.

The game achieved great success when it was released in 2024 and broke many records. But the journey to this tremendous success was filled with many significant challenges, testing Game Science and Feng Ji at every part of the journey. Despite these major obstacles, their dedication paid off, proving that hard work always pays off.

Game Sciences' Feng Ji, the visionary behind Black Myth: Wukong, was always optimistic and wanted to build a single-player AAA experience free of all microtransactions and endless in-app purchases. So when Steam highlighted in 2016 that 1/3 of its active users were from China, this information reignited Feng Ji's passion for creating his own high-quality AAA game.
