In the MCU, Skrulls are shape-shifting creatures that can copy the identity of any human, including their memories, making them capable of completely replacing humans. Skrulls are also incredibly strong compared to humans, and they can be a potential threat to humanity.
The Skrulls were first introduced in the Captain Marvel movie, which was released on March 8, 2019, and were depicted with a positive outlook. They were helped by Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson) to find a new home after the destruction of the Skrulls, their home planet.
