Kohlberg identified three distinct levels of moral reasoning: preconventional, conventional, and postconventional. Each level has two sub-stages.

He argued that correct moral reasoning was the most significant factor in moral decision-making, and that correct moral reasoning would lead to ethical behavior. Moral Values are important for a good Society. They make us a better Human Being. They help us to know the difference between right or wrong things and also enlightens our soul.

The Moral Education subject is a comprehensive approach to sustaining the society’s remarkable features of tolerance, openness, acceptance and respect of the other, which have developed over the past few decades.

While morals tend to be driven by personal beliefs and values, there are certainly some common morals that most people agree on, such as:

1. Always tell the truth.
2. Do not destroy property.
3. Have courage.
4. Keep your promises.
5. Do not cheat.
6. Treat others as you want to be treated.
7. Do not judge.
8. Be dependable.

Morality is the belief that some behaviour is right and acceptable and that other behaviour is wrong. standards of morality and justice in society. A morality is a system of principles and values concerning people’s behaviour, which is generally accepted by a society or by a particular group of people.
