How long is the duration of stay of a Chinese Z visa? Z visa, also known as a work visa, is valid for 30 days.

The Z visa should take around 3 – 7 days to process, but it can take longer. If you’ve got this far, you shouldn’t have the visa rejected. You’ll be notified once it has been processed so you can go collect it.

But it is extremely difficult to get a Z-visa, which requires applicants to prove that they have been hired by Chinese institutions and have at least two years of work experience in the relevant industry.

The usual Chinese work visa requirements include the Chinese work permit visa application form, passport, and photograph, as well as:

• an official letter of invitation.
• a health certificate covering a recent medical exam.
• an official employment license from the Chinese authorities.
