During photosynthesis, light energy converts carbon dioxide and water (the reactants) into glucose and oxygen (the products).

As you can see here from the equation, the final products are carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) . During the process, glucose (C6H12O6) is converted into ATP , the energy-carrying molecule, through a few steps, such as glycolysis, Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain.

The reaction is called aerobic respiration, and it produces energy which transfers to the cells. Aerobic respiration makes two waste products:carbon dioxide and water.

Aerobic Respiration: It is the process of cellular respiration that takes place in the presence of oxygen gas to produce energy from food. This type of respiration is common in most of the plants and animals, birds, humans, and other mammals. In this process, water and carbon dioxide are produced as end products.

Aerobic exercise is any type of cardiovascular conditioning. It can include activities like brisk walking, swimming, running, or cycling. You probably know it as “cardio.” By definition, aerobic exercise means “with oxygen.” Your breathing and heart rate will increase during aerobic activities.

Aerobic and anaerobic bacteria can be identified by growing them in test tubes of thioglycollate broth:

1. Obligate aerobes need oxygen because they cannot ferment or respire anaerobically.
2. Obligate anaerobes are poisoned by oxygen, so they gather at the bottom of the tube where the oxygen concentration is lowest.

Examples of aerobic bacteria are Nocardia sp., Psuedomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and Bacillus sp. Also called: aerobe.
