There are a variety of different sources of smoke, including:

• Fires (including wildfires, campfires, industrial fires, candles, fireplaces)
• Cooking devices (including wood-burning stoves or barbecues)
• Pest control activities (fumigation)
• Cigarettes.

What is smoke? Smoke is a mix of gases (including carbon dioxide and water vapour) and tiny particles (called soot) produced by burning wood, leaves, dried plant material, coal, and liquid fuels such as diesel, kerosene or petrol.

The major products are: Carbon Monoxide, Particulate Matter, Hydrocarbons and other organic compounds. The more intense the fire, the more complete the combustion process and a bigger percent of the smoke will be carbon dioxide and water vapor.

Combustion is a chemical process in which a substance reacts rapidly with oxygen and gives off heat. The original substance is called the fuel, and the source of oxygen is called the oxidizer. During combustion, new chemical substances are created from the fuel and the oxidizer.

An internal-combustion engine goes through four strokes: intake, compression, combustion (power), and exhaust.

Smoke occurs when there is incomplete combustion (not enough oxygen to burn the fuel completely). In complete combustion, everything is burned, producing just water and carbon dioxide. When incomplete combustion occurs, not everything is burned. Smoke is a collection of these tiny unburned particles.

Generally, there are four ways that fire can spread via heat transfer. These are through convection, conduction, radiation, and direct burning. CONVECTION – This is defined as the transmission of heat within a liquid or gas and is due to their difference in density.

Arcanine is used more defensively than Charizard. Their defensive stats are actually pretty similar, but Arcanine isn’t as weak to Stealth Rock as Charizard.

Maybe there WAS a beast type, but Pokémon trainers didn’t like the extra type with only one Pokémon (at the time) so they decided just to merge Arcanine into the fire type, but since there was already a fire type legendary Pokémon they just decided to wipe it from the legendary list, making it no longer legendary.

Arcanine sports better HP, attack, and slightly better defense. His move set is more limited (barely). It all comes down to the rest of your team, or personal preference. Typhlosion would be able to take water moves slightly better, considering their special nature.

So in layman’s terms, Charmander levels up faster than Growlithe. While this could be due to Charmander’s status as a starter, it’s worth noting that other Pokemon with three evolutionary forms – such as Poliwag, Bellsprout, and Trapinch – grow at the same rate that Charmander does.

They both fill a similar role on my team, and share the same weaknesses. Granted, Aerodactyl is purely physical while Charizard is stronger with special attacks.

Thanks to its good offenses and movepool, Arcanine can reliably 2HKO almost every defensive Pokemon in the metagame as well as threaten Stealth Rock setters such as Necrozma, Metagross, and Registeel. Flash Fire notably allows it to be one of the best counters to Ninetales in the tier.
