A Legacy Boss Battle is a boss from one game that appears as a boss in a later installment, often as a Bonus Boss and as a result generally much harder than the original boss fight. Though some storyline bosses can fit as well.

Larstastnaras is a demon. Therefore, the most effective strategy is to have a Mage or Priest who has the Beezlefreeze ability use it to keep her paralyzed. It will keep the boss from doing anything and make the fight extremely easy. While she is paralyzed, have your fighters defeat her.

Fortunately, all of the improvements that Dragon Quest XI S brings to the table are well worth paying the price of slightly worse visuals. For starters, Dragon Quest XI already had a fantastic cast of characters — and now you get to spend even more time with them.

It’s not that you need to, it’s mainly because XI plays homage to all the previous entries in the series (moreso the original trilogy) because it’s the anniversary title. But other than that, you can pretty much play it without needing to play everything else.

The most significant similarity between Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball is that Akira Toriyama is the character designer for both series. Sometimes artists can depict radically different styles, but the casts of the Dragon Quest games look like they’re pulled from out of Dragon Ball.
