If you have a lower spec GPU then gaming on a 240Hz monitor could be considered overkill and your money could be better spent upgrading your card instead! On the other hand, if you are regularly outputting 240 frames per second on your favored games, a 240Hz monitor could be a great addition to your setup.

4k 60 is the sharpest. 1440p 144hz is still decent and fast, if you want more of a edge then a 240hz would be better.

Is it possible to get a monitor that can run 4k 240Hz with 1Ms response time? No, there are no 240 hz 4K monitors currently on the market. Even a 2080 Ti struggles to hold 144 hz at 4K. And DisplayPort 1.4 does not support 4K 240 hz without stream compression.
