Dialpad gives you several ways to make a call — from the main dialer, search, or chat. If you’re looking to make a call from another type of device, visit our Help Center articles on iOS, Android, and desk phones.

If you need the dial pad during a call, simply select the “Dialpad” button on the lower right-hand side.

Dialpad’s cloud-based phone system lets you stay connected in real-time across all your existing devices, including those that run Android. If you haven’t already done so, download and install the Dialpad for Android app from the Google Play Store.

Making Calls with the Dial Pad

1. Click the Dial Pad button ( ).
2. Enter the number you want to call in the Phone Number field. You must enter a complete telephone number in E.
3. Click CALL to initiate an incoming call to your toolbar.
4. Click the handset icon to accept the call.

Make a phone call

1. Open your phone’s Phone app .
2. Pick who to call: To enter a number, tap Dialpad . To pick a saved contact, tap Contacts .
3. Tap Call .
4. When you’re done with the call, tap End call . If your call is minimized, drag the call bubble to the bottom right of the screen.

To display the onscreen keyboard, tap any text field or spot on the screen where typing is permitted. To dismiss the onscreen keyboard, tap the Back icon. Some onscreen keyboards feature a multifunction key. It may be labeled with the Settings (Gear) icon, a Microphone icon, or another icon.

With Keypad, it’s easy to dial any phone number of choice, even if that number isn’t in your contacts! Keypad will even converts numbers you paste in, so (800)-MY-APPLE automatically becomes (800)-692-7753 .

The dial pad can be used like a typical phone to make a call to a phone number. (You can also type in names or groups.) To dial a number from Teams, go to Calls, and then enter the number of the person you want to reach by using the dial pad located on the left. Then click Call. To call a person by name, type the name of a person into the dial pad.
