When you use the Wi-Fi Direct-compatible BRAVIA TV, you can directly connect the mobile device (Android OS) to the BRAVIA TV without a home network connection and control the TV with the Video & TV SideView application.

1. Launch the Wi-Fi Direct Mode on TV.
2. On the computer, select Control Panel on Start menu.
3. Select Network and Internet (Select Category on View by setting if not displayed)
4. Select Connect to a network.
5. Select DIRECT-xx-BRAVIA or the SSID which displayed on TV.
6. Select Connect.

Tap Direct-xx-BRAVIA on the mobile device’s screen to display the password input screen. Enter the WPA key (password) displayed on the TV screen, then tap Join. Allow a few minutes for the connection to be established, and the Settings screen to appear.

Connect your Screen mirroring compatible mobile device to the TV….The instructions below use Xperia (Android™ OS 4.4 or later) as an example.

1. Tap Settings.
2. Select Device connection or Xperia Connectivity.
3. Select Screen mirroring.
4. On the Screen mirroring screen, tap Start.
5. Select OK.
6. Tap the name of your TV.

To register your device to the TV

1. Tap Settings.
2. Select Device connection or Xperia Connectivity.
3. Select Screen mirroring.
4. On the Screen mirroring screen, tap Start.
5. Select OK.
6. Tap the name of your TV.
