Q1 How many international students are currently studying at CUHK? We have over 4,000 non-local students from some 50 countries and regions.

INTRODUCTION. Other Experiences and Achievements in Competitions or Activities, in short: OEA, is one of the factors in addition to the achievements at the HKDSE Examination which the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will consider.

Learner profiles may include information such as:

1. Skills, strengths, and interests.
2. Aspirations and passions.
3. Likes and dislikes.
4. Life experiences.
5. How the student likes to learn.
6. Struggles or potential barriers to learning.
7. Anything else the student or teacher deems important.

One good way to approach the Self-Account is to highlight no more than three valuable experiences. Each paragraph should focus on one experience and what you took away from it. Describe how you developed your skills from it, and how it links in with the programmes you plan to study.

If you apply through JUPAS and to PolyU concurrently, your direct application to PolyU will NOT be considered. If you have obtained HKDSE results only, you should apply through JUPAS. Please refer to the JUPAS website for details.

The actual results of the students admitted to each programme may vary from year to year (depending on the overall results achieved by applicants in a particular year, the number of applicants applying to the programme, changes in selection criteria, etc.).

This programme considers first choice application only. Preference will be given to students with good language skills. Applicants are required to submit their portfolio in late February . Shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview with portfolio presentation in late March/ early April.
