Skylines and Turnstiles
Founding and First Album (2001—2002) He wrote My Chemical Romance’s first song, “Skylines and Turnstiles”, about his feelings in the aftermath of the attacks. A short time after, the band recruited their current lead guitarist Ray Toro because Gerard couldn’t play guitar and sing at the same time.
