The Glacier battery in the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro uses silicon-carbon anode technology that reaches an energy density of 763Wh/L. What's interesting is that the brand claims that the density is 23.1% higher than that of standard graphite batteries
To bring this technology to its phones, OnePlus has teamed up with CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited). For those unaware, CATL is one of the world's largest manufacturers of electric cars. The primary goal behind this collaboration and the Glacier battery technology is to completely avoid dependence on power banks and easily get around two days of battery life or more.
