The Cruzer Dial USB slider is opened by rotating the dial counter-clockwise and the USB slider is closed by rotating the dial clockwise.

If the Cruzer is not receiving ample amount of power from the USB port, it will not function properly. Some desktop computers may need to use the USB ports in back of the computer. If the Flash Drive does not function on multiple computers, contact SanDisk Support to check warranty status.

Recently I purchased a Sandisk Cruzer Blade 32 GB USB drive. By default, it comes with a FAT-32 file system.

How to Use Sandisk Cruzer Flash Drive

1. Plug your SanDisk Cruzer into a relevant USB port. Plug your SanDisk Cruzer into any USB port of your laptop or a USB hub port or an USB extension cable attached to your desktop.
2. Decide on your task options.
3. Use your SanDisk Cruzer as a backup storage option.

1. Plug the USB flash drive directly into an available USB port.
2. Navigate to the folders in your computer containing files you want to transfer.
3. Right-click on the file you want to transfer to your removable disk.
4. Click Send To and select the Removable Disk associated with the USB flash drive.

Quick fixes for SanDisk Cruzer Not Recognized

1. Try another USB ports or other computer.
2. Check the USB universal serial ports.
3. Enable USB device in BIOS.
4. Run “Troubleshoot” feature.
5. Update or reinstall SanDisk Cruzer driver.
6. Assign a drive letter to the SanDisk USB.
7. Reformat the SanDisk Cruzer.

1. 1 Uninstall U3 Launchpad.
2. 2 Plug. Plug the SanDisk Cruzer into a USB port on the computer to register the drive in Windows.
3. 3 Click the Desktop tile. Click the “Desktop” tile in the Windows Start screen to open the Desktop.
4. 4 Click the U3 icon.
5. 5 Click Settings.
6. 6 Click the Uninstall option.
7. 7 Click.
8. 8 Click Format.

It is a free FAT32 USB formatter, which breaks the limitation of 32GB, enabling you to format 64GB, 128GB, 256GB or even larger USB drive with FAT32 file system. If your 64GB SanDisk Cruzer USB is originally formatted with NTFS file system; it allows you to convert NTFS drive to FAT32 without formatting and data loss.

A corrupt registry entry could cause your SanDisk product to not be detected by the computer. Removing the registry keys created on installation of your SanDisk product will allow the computer to fully reinstall the device and may resolve the issue.
