Recognize that most tourism by its nature involves the destination as a whole, not only industry businesses, but also its ecosystems, natural resources, cultural assets and traditions, communities, aesthetics, and built infrastructure.

There are six major components of tourism, each with their own sub-components. These are: tourist boards, travel services, accommodation services, conferences and events, attractions and tourism services.

These key elements are known as the 5 A’s: Access, Accommodation, Attractions, Activities, and Amenities.

The basic components or 4’A’ s of tourism are as follows:

• ATTRACTION: It is the most important element & object that attract people to travel.
• ACCESSIBILITY: It is important key factor for the development of tourism.
• ACCOMMODATION: -It includes food & lodging facilities to the guest.
• AMENITIES:

Tourism supply components are classified into four broad categories for discussion in this chapter.

• Natural resources and environment.
• Built environment.
• Operating sectors.
• Spirit of hospitality and cultural resources.

Components of Tourism Supply They are the places the tourists perceive as the satisfaction of their leisure-oriented needs. Natural Attractions − Caves, canyons, rocks, waterbodies, landscapes. Man-Made Attractions − Theme parks, towers, bridges, architecture, temples, mosques, churches, and monuments.

These 6 A’s along with the smart application will add value to the touristic experience.

The main components of tourism are accessibility, accommodation and attraction or locale. According to the Enuga State Tourism Board, these are considered the 3 A’s of tourism. One of the main components of tourism, accessibility, refers to the ability for tourists to get to the destination.

These components of tourism product can be discussed as follows:

• Attraction. It is the main component of tourism product.
• Accommodation. These are elements within the destination or related to tour, that make it possible for visitors to stay overnight.
• Accessibility.
• Amenities.

Tourists look for comfort and hassle-free travel. Apart from comfort and hassle-free travel, tourist should also look into comfort, cost, convenience, time for traveling, and safety as other important factors which need to be considered before undertaking a journey.

The elements of the system are tourists, generating regions, transit routes, destination regions and a tourist industry. These five elements are arranged in spatial and functional connections.

THE TOURIST Focal element of tourism. Has two components” a dynamic element – the j o u r n e y , and a static element – the stay” (Burkart & Medlik 1974).  Second concept defining tourists is that they are net consumers of economic resources within the regions visited.

The pull factors are active sports environment, unique natural environment, safety, sunshine, inexpensiveness, cultural activities, entertainment, sightseeing, local culture, different culture and cuisine and uniqueness of small towns/villages/mountains.

A framework for the general study of tourism is discussed. A systems methodology is used to develop a new definition of tourism. Five elements are isolated: tourists, three geographical elements (generating region, transit route, and destination region), and a tourist industry.

Janusz and Bajdor (2013) revealed the essence of sustainable tourism and described the main framework for sustainable tourism, which consists of 12 elements (economical capacity, local prosperity, employment quality, social balance, satisfying visitors, local control, satisfaction of local community, cultural wealth.

The Tourism Optimisation Management Model (TOMM) was developed to monitor the effect of tourism on Kangaroo Island from a variety of perspectives (including environmental, economic, socio-cultural and visitor experience) in the interests of both residents and visitors.
