Salvation (from Latin: salvatio, from salva, ‘safe, saved’) is the state of being saved or protected from harm or a dire situation. In religion and theology, salvation generally refers to the deliverance of the soul from sin and its consequences.

Salvation, in this sense, means the full redemption of the whole man. To redeem is to buy something back. God paid the ransom to Himself in order to satisfy the demands of His holy, righteous nature. This he did through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

In Christianity, salvation (also called deliverance or redemption) is the “saving [of] human beings from sin and its consequences, which include death and separation from God” by Christ’s death and resurrection, and the justification following this salvation.

• Original sin – this is inherited from Adam and Eve, the first humans created by God. They broke the perfect relationship between God and humans by disobeying God’s command.
• Personal sin – these are an individual’s sins. They are the consequences of a person’s actions.

Salvation, for the Hindu, can be achieved in one of three ways: the way of works, the way of knowledge, or the way of devotion. The Way of Works- karma marga, is the path to salvation through religious duty. The Way of Knowledge- another way of achieving salvation in the Hindu sense is the way of knowledge.

These are Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Raja Yoga. In Bhakti Yoga, the seeker tries to attain salvation through the heart, surrendering to the will of God.

The three ways to salvation are (1) the karma-marga (the path of duty) or the dispassionate discharge of ritual and social obligations; (2) the jnana-marga (the path of knowledge) which is the use of meditation with concentration preceded by a long and systematic ethical and contemplative training through yoga to gain …

Faith is necessary to salvation (Heb. 11:6). But faith is more than just one’s admission that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Repentance is necessary, but it is more than just a decision to turn and serve God: — It must result in activity.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

We need salvation because we are spiritually blind without it (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Our spiritual eyes need to be opened to see and understand God’s holiness and glory (Acts 9:18; Ephesians 1:18). Furthermore, they need to be opened because God has called us to be holy as He is holy (1 Peter 1:16).

God accepts that you are a sinner and He is glad if you accept it too. Believe that Jesus has saved and forgiven you through His death on the cross. Yes, the true gospel of Jesus will save you once you accept Him and confess your sins. Jesus died for you to have eternal life.

Classical versions of Christianity typically insist on conscious and explicit faith as a necessary requirement for salvation. However, from the beginning, this demand has been mitigated, and different arguments have been provided to ensure the possibility of salvation of those who are outside the church proper.

Salvation, in religion, the deliverance of humankind from such fundamentally negative or disabling conditions as suffering, evil, finitude, and death. In some religious beliefs it also entails the restoration or raising up of the natural world to a higher realm or state.

For conservative and fundamentalist Christians, salvation is important because they believe that without salvation from sin, they will never be able to have a proper relationship with God, their sins will not be forgiven and so they will not be able to enter heaven.

Christian worship involves praising God in music and speech, readings from scripture, prayers of various sorts, a sermon, and various holy ceremonies (often called sacraments) such as the Eucharist.

The forms and types of worship are extraordinarily rich and varied. Three types may be distinguished: corporate exclusive worship; corporate inclusive worship; and personal worship.

Worship is an act of religious devotion usually directed towards a deity. An act of worship may be performed individually, in an informal or formal group, or by a designated leader. Such acts may involve honoring.

The most common prayer among Christians is the “Lord’s Prayer”, which according to the gospel accounts (e.g. Matthew 6:9-13) is how Jesus taught his disciples to pray.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

God uses human channels to speak words of prophecy, tongues and interpretation and words of wisdom and knowledge (1 Cor. 12:8-10). God also expresses Himself through human vessels to distribute His message in anointed sermons, songs and writings.

Here are some things to do throughout the day to spend your time more intentionally with God.

1. Start Your Day With Him.
2. Pray Intentionally.
3. Write Down Things You Are Thankful For.
4. Notice Your Complaints and Turn Them Into Praise.
5. Enjoy God’s Creation.
6. Love Others.
7. Love Yourself.

It can contain sacred texts, liturgies, prayers, hymns, songs, sacraments, and sermons. Whether it be formal or informal, long or short, high or low, spoken or sung, good worship is about God. Of course the singing and playing were easy targets for criticism as well, and it was HOT.

An effective worship leader should have some kind of musical talent. We want to obviously lead with a pure heart, but skill is very important when it comes to leading the people in worship. Having musical abilities allows the people we lead to focus more on the act of worship rather than the mistakes we are making.
