A farmer helped me close the map and appreciate Vermund's magic

Avoid these PAWN mistakes in Dragons Dogma 2! – Dragon's Dogma 2 Pawns Guide (Dragons Dogma 2 Tips)

Fang came highly recommended.

When I met the cat archer, who had the beauty of a jungle cat and the build of André the Giant, I had a paltry five hour adventure experience in Dragon's Dogma 2. Her profile in the Riften contained an abundance of "hearts" and "thumbs up" from other, more experienced players who had already benefited from her support across Vermund's fields. She was, unfortunately, level 13, a few levels above me, and since farmers at higher levels than the player cost more, her contract would take away my savings. But my instincts told me that Fang would be worth every single crystal.

In our introduction, which took place on a windswept mountainside, Fang informed me that she spoke Elvish and could represent us well should we meet any elves. I hadn't run into any gnomes yet, but was sure I would at some point. What a treat that would be for Fang and me. And before I could finish that thought, the herculean cat sprinted down the path and pointed in the direction of the mission.
