Until about 1990, the study of Russian was compulsory in all Bulgarian schools so most Bulgarians over about 40 speak it fluently. Now, some younger people speak Russian but almost all of them are fluent in English because this is a much more useful language.

Serbian and Macedonian are very simular to Bulgarian, Russian could also be helpful, at least for the Cyrillic script. But note that there are also some words that have different meanings in Bulgarian and Russian.

Bulgarian is most closely related to modern Slovenian, Sebo-Croatian, and Macedonian. It is also closely related to East Slavic languages like Ukrainian, Belarusian, and Russian, and to West Slavic languages like Sorbian, Polish, Slovak, and Czech.

Its economy is powered by construction, mining, services – which include tourism – and agriculture sectors. The global economic downturn ended a run of strong economic growth for the country. Bulgaria has a well-educated workforce, but it is considered the poorest nation in the European Union.

Bulgarian is the country’s only official language. It’s spoken by the vast majority of the Bulgarian population and used at all levels of society. It is a Slavic language, and its closest relative is Macedonian. Bulgarian is written with Cyrillic, which is also used by Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian and Macedonian.

After the Russo-Turkish War in 1878 the Bulgarian Turks lost their social and political domination in Bulgaria. The official Turkish language became the language of a minority.

5. Attest the power of attorneys and the investment agreement.

Bulgaria tourist visa is not required for citizens of United Kingdom for a stay up to 90 days.

Registering a legal entity in Bulgaria is the only possible way for a British national to purchase land on the territory of Bulgaria. However, this option may only be applied in urban territories.

If you were living in the UK before 1 January 2021, you may continue to live and work there. However, you will need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme for settled or pre-settled status if you haven’t already. You have until 30 June 2021 to do so.

If you’re an EU , EEA or Swiss Citizen travelling to the UK for a short business trip, you may not need to apply for a visa. Under the UK ‘s new points-based immigration system, you can continue to visit the UK without applying for a visa. In most cases you can stay for up to 6 months.

If you have UK Settled or Pre-Settled Status under the EU Settlement Scheme, you can continue to enter the UK with a valid passport or identity card.

ILR status allows you to live and work in the UK without restrictions on the length of stay. It is the equivalent of the United States permanent residency/ green card. ILR residents may apply for UK citizenship after a period of continuous residence.

You can live outside the UK for 5 years without losing your settled status. With indefinite leave to remain, you can only live outside the UK for 2 years.

A single period of absence of more than 6 months but which does not exceed 12 months is permitted, where this is for an important reason, and will not break your continuous qualifying period of residence. Important reasons include pregnancy, childbirth, serious illness, study.

It costs £1,330 to apply. You must also pay £19.20 to have your biometric information (fingerprints and a photo) taken. You’ll be told how to do this after you’ve applied.

Dual citizenship (also known as dual nationality) is allowed in the UK. This means you can be a British citizen and also a citizen of other countries.

Drawbacks of being a dual citizen include the potential for double taxation, the long and expensive process for obtaining dual citizenship, and the fact that you become bound by the laws of two nations.

The United Kingdom allows triple citizenship (multiple citizenship). This means that when you become a British citizen, you don’t need to give up previous nationalities. Also, having other citizenships will not affect your application for British citizenship.
