“Reunion” (再会, Saikai) is episode 51 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.

Despite having flirted with the idea of killing him (especially to evolve his Sharingan), he elected to show mercy since “he didn’t need to finish him off in order to become stronger.”

By the end of the series, Naruto has learned many abilities and has so much chakra that other ninja are astounded by it. The two both lost an arm when they fought at the Valley of the End. That admittance proves that Naruto is stronger than Sasuke.

So, when does Sasuke come back to Naruto? Sasuke comes back in episode #478 of Naruto Shippuden. The episode is titled “The Unison Sign.” Sasuke can not stay away from Leaf Village for good. He returns to his beloved Leaf Village once again after the 4th Great Ninja War to help protect the village from enemies.

When Sasuke absconded from the Leaf alongside the Sound Four, Naruto joined a team led by Shikamaru in order to bring him back. Each member of the Konoha 11 squad engaged Orochimaru’s lieutenants, dwindling their numbers until the intrepid Naruto and Sasuke came face to face.
