Anticipation for Deadpool and Wolverine is at an all-time high after the release of their new trailer a few days ago. The trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine featured some past Marvel movie references and some pretty cool easter eggs. But in a new report, Shawn Levy, the director of the film, noted that while this movie has references and is rich in Easter eggs, you don't need to see previous Marvel movies to understand Deadpool and Wolverine. So, in a recent conversation with The Associated Press, Shawn Levy told them that no one needs to do homework before watching Deadpool and Wolverine and that even someone new to Marvel can easily understand the film. In his statement he said-
"I really made this movie with a healthy respect and gratitude for the rabid fan base that has the most fluid mythology and knowledge of these characters and this world. But I didn't want to assume that. This movie is built to entertain, without any obligation to come prepared with previous research."
