Chris Evans' Human Torch has a fan base that loved his performance as the ruthless superhero in Fantastic Four

Chris Evans' Johnny Storm was the best of Tim Story's duo of Fantastic Four films, which failed to impress critics. Fans watching the film again would notice that he gave a performance that didn't remind them of his iconic Captain America role even for a second. As the Human Torch, Evans gave off a cocky attitude, which fits the description of the character as a ruthless superhero.
Some of the deleted footage from the film resurfaced on the internet and fans are upset that a scene of Evans was not included in the final cut of the film. In this scene, Julian McMahon's Victor Von Doom comes to visit the Human Torch in an attempt to tear the Fantastic Four apart.
In Tim Story's first Fantastic Four film, the titular team gathers for an experiment at Von Doom Industries that goes horribly wrong. The four main characters, played by Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis, gain newfound abilities. Victor Von Doom blames Reed Richards for the accident and the loss of his company and is out for revenge.
