Dorne is one of the nine constituent regions of the Seven Kingdoms. It is the southernmost part of the continent of Westeros, located thousands of miles from Winterfell and the North, and has a harsh desert climate.

In Season Five, Arya travels to Braavos, where she tracks down Jaqen H’ghar, who is a mysterious assassin of the Faceless Men. That is her character’s death: Arya is gone, in place of a nameless girl. But in Season Seven, Arya is reborn. After killing her rival The Waif, Arya comes face-to-face with a proud Jaqen.

The season ended with her lover/nephew Jon Snow, the rightful heir to the Targaryen crown, stabbing her to death in the Iron Throne room to prevent her from further acts of destruction.

Drogon apparently senses that Daenerys has died, and there’s a strong link between them – hence how he knew to come to her rescue in Meereen’s fighting pit too – and so that suggests he understands, on some level, what has happened, why Jon did what he did, and why he won’t kill him for it.

Drogon knows Jon killed his mother, but instead of taking revenge on him, the dragon turns his wrath on the Iron Throne and melts it into molten slag. According to Djawadi, it’s intended to represent Drogon destroying the thing that led to his mother’s downfall.

Mirri was then supposed to use Drogo’s horse as a sacrifice, but when she begins chanting, Daenerys starts feeling sharp pains in her stomach and collapses, going into labour. When she awakes, she learns that Khal Drogo has been left in a vegetative state by Mirri’s blood magic, and she’s lost her baby, Rhaego.

So, it’s as simple as that: Drogon didn’t fly away with Daenerys’ body, dump it somewhere, and devour the remains of his human “mother.” At the end of the Game of Thrones series finale, Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) notes that Drogon was last seen flying east toward “Volan–” before he’s cut off….

Her fire immunity was hinted at in both the books and show before she hatched her dragons, when she entered a scalding bath and picked up her burning hot eggs without being harmed. TARGARYENS ARE NOT IMMUNE TO FIRE! The birth of Dany’s dragons was unique, magical, wonderous, a miracle….

Instead, they confirmed, Drogon took her to Volantis – the homeland of the Targaryens and the dragons they commanded. Samwell Tarly noted as much in the finale episode, revealing he saw Drogon flying in that direction….

For the past two years, both the readers of George R.R. Martin’s books and fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones have concentrated on a revelation about one of the series’ major characters: Jon Snow. Jon Snow isn’t who he thinks he is. Jon Snow is actually half Targaryen, the oldest son of Daenerys’s oldest brother.

There’s another fireproof, dragon-riding character on the show: Daenerys Targaryen. Simply put: no, the Night King is not a Targaryen, as poetic as it would have been for Jon / Aegon and Daenerys to have to face off against their many-greats-grandfather.

SPOILER ALERT: Daenerys’ dragon Rhaegal was shot and killed by Euron’s army during Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones and everyone’s super pissed. This means Dany has only one dragon left: Drogon.

It was Rhaegal – the dragon that’s been ridden by Jon Snow in the past few episodes. This means that, after the Night King killed Viserion, the sole surviving dragon on the series is Drogon.

Rhaegal fights Viserion above Winterfell. During the Battle of Winterfell, Jon and Daenerys, mounted on Rhaegal and Drogon respectively, provide air support for their ground forces and fight the Night King in the sky above Winterfell. Rhaegal is killed by a scorpion bolt to the neck.

Qyburn had months to perfect his scorpion bolts after Daenerys attacked Jaime. He made them larger, faster, and definitely more deadly. Rhaegal was struck in his chest and neck, if the scorpions had punched a hole through his wing or maybe one of his legs he might have survived but where he was hit was lethal.

This is the second of Dany’s three dragons/children to die on this season of Game of Thrones. Viserion, who was turned into a wight at the end of season 7, died at the Battle of Winterfell after Arya killed the Night King. With Viserion and Rhaegal both dead, Drogon is Dany’s only remaining dragon. RIP Rhaegal.

When she attempts to take control of the few remaining Dothraki as a khal would, she is refused. As night falls, Daenerys lights the pyre and is drawn by instinct deep into the inferno. When the pyre dies, the others find her unburnt and nursing the first three baby dragons in hundreds of years.

Viserion was killed by the Night King and Rhaegal was (controversially) shot down by Euron Greyjoy, leaving Drogon as the last surviving dragon at the end of the series. With all but one of Daenerys’ children dead at the end of the series it seems like dragons are effectively extinct in Game of Thrones.

She can’t control her dragons because just like everything else, she expected this to fall in her lap too. She has largely bonded with Drogon. Daenerys is the exact same character as she has always been since she hatched her dragons.

He can be distinguished by his black and red colored scales, and red-black wings. He was also Daenerys’s personal mount. With the deaths of Viserion and Rhaegal, Drogon is currently the last of his brothers, hence the only known living dragon in existence.

As for Daenerys, dragons love her as their mother. But riding connection was created with Drogon when he saved her from arena.

Daenerys Targaryen admitted losing control of her dragons on Sunday’s season five premiere of Game Of Thrones. The platinum blonde queen played by Emilia Clarke checked in on her two remaining fire-breathing dragons after telling her lover Daario Naharis they had become unruly.

Daenerys Targaryen has trained her three dragons to respond to vocal commands in her mother tongue of High Valyrian. She often uses the command “Dracarys”, to which her dragons respond by instantly breathing fire and burning anything in their path.
