WhatsApp finally came with message reactions recently and from what I have experienced it is so useful. That said, it's still in its early stages, and there's a lot of room for new additions. We've already heard that this feature may be coming to Status, and according to a new report, more information about message reactions will be available in the Messages app, making it easier to follow. WABetaInfo's latest report says that WhatsApp plans to add the new ability to view detailed message information for shared media. Essentially, this means that users will soon be able to see which media in the auto-album have been reacted to. Currently, this is not possible, and to see the reactions, users must open the album.

It is suggested that a future update will show a small thumbnail of the media a person has reacted to with the type of reaction, of course. The report contains a screenshot of the same and has also shown a difference between the current message reaction interface and the expected one. Take a look.

This new message reaction feature is said to reach WhatsApp for iOS, Android and even its desktop version. However, it is still under development, which is why we don't know its ETA. Nevertheless, this may happen soon as updating the feature in the future is a nice choice.
