The book does not end with a horrific appliance suicide, because Thomas Disch was not a sadist who liked to make little kids cry. Now of course, the very next scene shows the master repairing Toaster. At the end of the film, not only is Toaster fine, he doesn’t have a scratch on him.

Disney has announced that “The Happiest Millionaire” will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Friday 11th June.

WHY ISN’T ENCHANTED ON DISNEY PLUS? We don’t know the specifics of the deals regarding Enchanted—it’s not currently streaming free on any other streaming service—but the film may come to Disney+ in the coming years, after those deals (whatever they may be) expire.

It would appear that there is some type of licensing deal with “Enchanted” that is preventing Disney adding the movie to Disney+. Although, the movie isn’t available on any other streaming service either right now.

After years of being in development for ages, it has finally been confirmed that a “Disenchanted”, the sequel to the smash-hit Disney film, “Enchanted”, will be coming exclusively to Disney+.

It’s not called Enchanted 2. At the end of 2020, Disney confirmed that Disenchanted (the actual title) is in the works. It will stream on Disney+. Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey are both returning.

Ella Enchanted is a Newbery Honor book written by Gail Carson Levine and published in 1997. The story is a retelling of Cinderella featuring various mythical creatures including fairies, elves, ogres, gnomes, and giants.

After Ella heroically disenchants herself, the ending practically writes itself. She and Char are married within the month, and her stepfamily is most definitely not invited. However, all their other friends and allies are: Ella renews her friendship with Areida, for instance, and they remain lifelong friends.

Ella breaks the curse by refusing to marry Char when he tells her, “Marry me.” Though this is what Ella most wants to do in the world, she knows that she would be putting Char and the rest of the kingdom in danger, and so she rocks back and forth, fighting against herself, until she’s able to finally break free.

There is one major conflict throughout all of Ella Enchanted. It is the fact that as a baby, Ella was placed under the curse of obedience by a careless, idiotic fairy. Because of one fairy’s mistake, the curse controls every aspect of Ella’s life, such as her friends, family, and schooling.

After the funeral, Ella’s father, Sir Peter, tells her that she will go to finishing school with Hattie and Olive. Before she leaves, Mandy gives her two gifts: her mother’s necklace and a magic book. On her last day in Kyrria, Ella goes to visit the castle and runs into Char. Together, they visit the royal menagerie.

The theme of Ella Enchanted is selflessness. Ella had to make many difficult choices so that she wouldn’t hurt her friends, because of her curse of obedience. Ella put the people she loved before herself.

While Ella Enchanted was published in 1997, it does take place during medieval times. There is no specific date given in the novel, but elements of the time period are presented in the story. The story takes place in Kyrria, in which has castles and is ruled by King Jerrold.
