The Notification Panel is a place to quickly access alerts, notifications and shortcuts. The Notification Panel is at the top of your mobile device’s screen. It is hidden in the screen but can be accessed by swiping your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom. It is accessible from any menu or application.

Change notification settings on iPhone

1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
2. To choose when you want most notification previews to appear, tap Show Previews, then select an option—Always, When Unlocked, or Never.
3. Tap Back, tap an app below Notification Style, then turn Allow Notifications on or off.

Once you delete a notification it is gone. The deleted notifications can’t be retrieved. But their content should be on your device, somewhere (Phone call history, chat, messages, e-mail).

Go to Settings > Sound & Notification > App Notifications. Select the app, and make sure that Notifications are turned on and set to Normal. Make sure that Do Not Disturb is turned off.

If restarting your phone didn’t do the job, try reviewing the notification settings for the app in question. If you don’t find the relevant settings in the app, make sure to check Android’s notification settings for the app under Settings > Apps & Notifications > [App name] > Notifications.

Procedure

1. Open Android Messages.
2. Tap the contact that has this icon displayed.
3. Tap the three stacked dots in the upper right-hand corner.
4. Tap People & options.
5. Tap Notifications to toggle on and off.

In case notifications are still not showing on your Android, make sure to clear the cache and data from apps and give them permissions again. Chances are that the piled-up data caused this problem. Open Settings > Apps > All apps (App manager or Manage apps). Select an app from the app list.

On your Android phone or tablet, swipe down from the top of the screen (once or twice depending on your device’s manufacturer), then tap the “Gear” icon to open the “Settings” menu. Select the “Apps & Notifications” option from the menu. Next, tap “Notifications.”

To view your notifications, swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen. Notifications will be displayed under the Quick settings panel. To open a notification, tap it. To clear all notifications, tap Clear.

2. Tap ‘On’ or ‘Off’.

2. In the top left, tap Menu .
3. Tap Settings.
4. Select your account.
5. Tap Notifications and select a notification level.
6. Tap Inbox notifications.
7. Choose your notification settings, including sounds.
