Built in China, this amp is more of a re-imagining than a reissue. The C1 version has a single channel with bass and treble controls that are based on Vox’s top boost circuit.

Classic Vox Tone in a Compact All-tube Amp This all-tube 10-watt combo gives you classic Vox tones through a custom Celestion 10″ speaker. Volume, treble, bass, reverb, and gain controls let you dial in everything from clean to crunch with definite Vox style.

The AC10C1 features top-mounted “chicken-head” controls for gain, bass, treble, reverb and master volume, along with an external speaker jack, two 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 tubes pushing 10 watts of output power. Turning up the treble produces sparkling cleans that have razor-sharp top-end sheen.

Hi the Vox AC10 is a valve amp and like most valve amps it doesn’t have a headphone out.

Was looking for that small tube amp that would provide the sound I was looking for during practice sessions and would deliver the same tone and punch (if needed) during gigs. Found it with the Vox AC10C1. Takes pedals well and you can really dial your tone in very nicely.

Jazz artists liked them two, since they were small, yet loud enough to be heard in a combo and had great headroom. Blues and rock guitarists like the early breakup of the 6V6 tubes. This is all sort of funny since Leo Fender considered this to be a student amp, hence the name Princeton.
