Colombian paisa accent

My Spanish accent is now a mixture of Spain and rioplatense Spanish, and it should be no surprise that I find it easiest to understand speakers from those regions. Colombians and Venezuelans are also very easy to understand. (Colombians like to think they speak accentless Spanish, but of course, everyone has an accent.

We pronounce the words clearer, better if you will. But if you refer to the official language of Spain, the Castilian, then the clearest is the one spoken in Valladolid or Burgos.

Of all the places I’ve traveled (Catalunya, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, DR, and Cuba), I have found the Dominicans to be the most difficult to understand. Chileans are a second, followed by Spanish.

But it would be Colombian seems to be the slowest. Colombian Rolo accent without a doubt. I just spent the last two years becoming conversationally fluent in Colombian Spanish so feel free to ask any questions.
