• The 3rd Division responds to a Grande-class Menos Hollow invasion in the Dangai.

Fifty-five years ago, Byakuya married Hisana Kuchiki, a commoner from Rukongai, breaking the rules by accepting her into the noble Kuchiki Clan. Five years after the marriage, she became sick and was near death.

At the age of three, Ukitake developed a fatal lung disease, which caused his hair to turn white.

Retsu Unohana
Retsu Unohana. Retsu Unohana (卯ノ花 烈, Unohana Retsu) was the captain of Squad 4, one of the founding members of the Gotei 13 and the first Kenpachi, a title granted to the captains of the Squad 11.

Captain Kakyoku Kawakaze
The Fourth Division (四番隊, yonbantai), also known as Squad 4, is one of the thirteen division of the Gotei 13, headed by Captain Kakyoku Kawakaze. Her Lieutenant is Yuki Kōmoto.

Shinji Hirako (平子 真子, Hirako Shinji), is a male Shinigami, and the current Captain of the Fifth Division. Before his return to the Soul Society after being forced into hiding in the World of the Living, he served as the leader of the Visored and was their primary recruiter. His current Lieutenant is Momo Hinamori.

Soi Fon, Toshiro Hitsugaya, Genryusai Yamamoto, and Byakuya Kuchiki all got their Bankais stolen. Out of them, Yamamoto, the Captain-Commander, lost his life in his battle with Yhwach.Dhuʻl-Q. 20, 1442 AH

Hisana Kuchiki (朽木 緋真, Kuchiki Hisana) was the wife of Byakuya Kuchiki, the maternal aunt of Ichika Arabai, the sister-in-law of Renji Abarai, and the older sister of Rukia Kuchiki.

Makoto has had a crush on him for about 2 years and Byakuya is just discovering that he, Byakuya Togami has a crush on the commoner, Makoto Naegi.

Kisuke Urahara (浦原 喜助, Urahara Kisuke) is the former captain of the 12th Division, as well as the founder and 1st President of the S.R.D.I.. His lieutenant was Hiyori Sarugaki. He lives in the Human World where he owns a small convenience store which sells Shinigami items.

With this broad definition in mind, we are ready to cover five more deaths and losses.

Bleach: 13 BLADEs. The Fourth Division (四番隊, yonbantai; “Squad 4” in the English Dub), is one of the Gotei 13, headed by Captain Isane Kotetsu . The 4th Division follows the traditional organization of a Gotei 13 Division.

Isane Kotetsu is the Captain of the 4th Division and former lieutenant under Captain Retsu Unohana. Her lieutenant is her younger sister, Kiyone Kotetsu, the former 13th Division’s 3rd Seat. As the lieutenant of the 4th Division, Isane excels in healing techniques, being second in the 4th Division only to her captain.

The Fourth Division (四番隊, yonbantai; “Squad 4” in the English Dub), is one of the Gotei 13, headed by Captain Isane Kotetsu.

Although this does not apply to modern armies, in historical real-life armies the lieutenant has been the adjutant of the captain, as is the case for fukutaichō and taichō in Bleach. Therefore, lieutenant is a correct real-life equivalent of this rank.
