German literature is rich in beautifully crafted stories, especially from the eras of Sturm und Drang, Romanticism, and Realism. Certain German books are an excellent introduction not only to German literature but to German culture and the history of Germany too.

Its literature was almost exclusively in the Latin language.

The Nibelungenlied

German literature (German: Deutschsprachige Literatur) comprises those literary texts written in the German language. The Old High German period is reckoned to run until about the mid-11th century; the most famous works are the Hildebrandslied and a heroic epic known as the Heliand.

Mahabharata

There are two main types of epic: folk and literary. Folk epic is an old form of epic poem that was originally told in oral form.

Mahabharata is completely real and it did take place. There are numerous archaeological and scientific evidence to prove the occurrence and existence of Mahabharata. It has been mentioned in the epic that Mahabharata is an “Itihasa” which means history and thus it means that Mahabharata took place.

The modern city of Dwarka, which in Sanskrit means ‘Gateway to heaven’, is located north-west of the state. Marine scientists say archaeological remains discovered 36 m (120 ft) underwater in the Gulf of Cambay off the western coast of India could be over 9,000 years old.

Shri Krishna played flute day and night until Radha took her last breathe and merged with Krishna in a spiritual way. Radha abandoned her body while listening to the tunes of the flute. Lord Krishna could not bear Radha’s death and broke his flute as a symbolic ending of love and threw it into the bush.

In the Bhagavata Purana, it is described that after Balarama took part in the battle causing the destruction of the remainder of the Yadu dynasty and witnessing the disappearance of Krishna, he sat down in a meditative state and departed from this world.

When Krishna was about to kill him, Rukmini begged that spare her brother’s life. Krishna agreed and let Rukmi go free, but not before having his head shaved as a visible sign of a warrior’s defeat. Rukmi was killed by Balarama because he cheated Balarama in a dice game.

Radha (Sanskrit: राधा, IAST: Rādhā), also called Radhika, is a Hindu goddess and a consort of the god Krishna. She is worshiped as the goddess of love, tenderness, compassion and devotion….

Subhadra (Sanskrit: सुभद्रा, romanized: Subhadrā) is a Hindu goddess, mentioned in the ancient Hindu scriptures like the Mahabharata and the Bhagavata Purana. She is described as the favourite child of Vasudeva and the sister of the deities Krishna and Balarama.

After, having left Vrindavan, Bhagwaan Sri Krishna never back to Vrindavan except single time for meeting his parent Vasudeva Devki and Nand Baba -Yasoda for his final trip to his Param Dham Vaikuntha.

Note: It is a common misconception that Kaikeyi was Devaki, and Kaushalya was Yashoda. This is clearly mentioned otherwise in Rig Veda (about Vishnu and Mother Aditi). Reference can also be found in ‘Devi Bhagvatam’.

Radha and Krishna were separated because of Shridhama’s curse. Shridhama was a friend and a devotee of Shri Krishna, who believed that Bhakti (devotion) is higher than Prem (live). Therefore, he did not want people to take Radha’s name before Krishna’s.

Radha’s standing in the village was restored and Ayan did not reproach her but accepted everything with tenderness and love. And this newfound feeling for her husband made Radha whole again… North India says that Radha killed herself after Krishna left her.

Balaram lands in trouble after he reveals Rukmini’s identity. Later, Rukmini gets jealous when she finds out about Krishna’s past.

Did Krishna love Rukmini? Yes. Rukmini had no doubts he did. By this time Narada was beginning to enjoy himself.

Her Death. After Krishna left his mortal body, Rukmini and seven other of his wives sacrificed themselves as an offering of oneself in the same burning funeral as Krishna’s.

Krishna heroically eloped with her and they had ten children including Pradyumna. Rukmini is mainly worshipped in Maharashtra and South India….

He took out the iron piece and applied it on the tip of his arrow. The hunter Jara mistook Krishna’s partly visible left foot for that of a deer, and shot an arrow, wounding him mortally resulting departure of Krishna from the earth.

Laxmi’s incarnation as Rukmini was supposed to be a silent supporter – very important but less conspicuous. And this was by their own design, their own strategy, and their master plan. There’s no bias between Radha and Rukmini as why one is only worshipped with Krishna.
