It means that they have already received the invite for that mission.

Restart your game. Check for any outstanding updates, and make sure your device and your game are fully up-to-date. Check your internet connection – test other devices, other apps, and try to minimise the number of apps that are jostling for bandwidth.

If by some error you do select to skip the tutorial, you cannot get this option back again! The only solution is to make a second new character and run through the Online tutorial with that one, and then go back to your first character after you’re done.

Complete the GTA Online tutorial To access it, either hold down to the d-pad to bring up the character selection wheel and select the bottom segment (which represents your GTA Online character), or pause the game, pick the Online menu tab and choose the Play GTA Online option.

1. Go to Friends > press the OPTIONS button > Players Blocked.
2. Select the player that you want to unblock > press the OPTIONS button > Unblock.
3. Send a new friend request if you want to add this player to your Friends list.

Accessing a new Invite Only Session

1. Open the Pause Menu.
2. Navigate to the “Online” tab and select it.
3. Scroll down to “Play GTA Online” and select it.
4. Then select the “Invite Only Session” option and you will be taken to a new private session.

Check for GTA updates and install the latest version (the game often fails to join online sessions if it’s not up-to-date). Enter Story Mode and try to load a new save or game. Select your character and check if this method works.

How to Complete Tutorial in GTA Online:

1. Create your character.
2. Complete Mall or Nothing and Learning the Ropes.
3. Finish the Misson and PvP sections. It is recommended you not skip this area if you want to play with friends.

Do the tutorial. It takes about an hour, but the tutorial, in which Lamar takes you on a few missions, is a vital introduction to different aspects of GTA Online.

Make a second character, complete the tutorial missions, then switch back to your main character, play for 30 minutes, and in a few days the rewards will start showing up.

Each mission begins automatically. This part can’t be skipped by any means, so you’ll just need to grin and bear your way through it, but it doesn’t take long at all (less than an hour). After this point, you’ll be given the option to free roam, but the tutorial isn’t actually over yet.

From there while your gta 5 game icon is highlighted, scroll down to where it has current friends playing listed, click on “view all,” and from their click on which ever friend you want to join. Your friend might be able to do the same to you as well.
