As an educative source, literature plays a significant part in human life. Literature works with direct or implied moral. Literature influences us and makes us understand the every walk of life. Why 21st Century Literature? Simply because SHS students were all born in or just before the 21st century. This century is their century. For them, the 20th century is what the 19th century is to us teachers. –

The term “21st-century skills” is generally used to refer to certain core competencies such as collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving that advocates believe schools need to teach to help students thrive in today’s world.

According to the report, the cornerstone of becoming a successful learner at any age comes down to the four C’s: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication.

In the 21st century, when it comes to the skills that a teacher should acquire, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, cooperation, creativity, leadership are among the first-ranked skills, while some concepts such as effective guidance, character development and professional ethics come to the fore.

We live in the 21st Century, that is, the 2000s. Similarly when we say “20th Century,” we are referring to the 1900s. All this because, according to the calendar we use, the 1st Century included the years 1-100 (there was no year zero), and the 2nd Century, the years 101-200.
