Does the person recognize that “lol” doesn’t necessarily hold any informational value, beside acknowledgement of the previous statement? If so, they still hold responsibility to respond to your statement, and a “:P” will be a proper counter-response that thanks them for their “lol” and responds politely in kind.

One “y” in a “hey” – “Hello how are you doing?” Two “y’s” in a heyy – “Hi, I’m kinda interested in you what are you doing?” Three “y’s” in a heyyy – “So, when are you doing to ask me on a date?” Four “y’s” in a heyyyy – “We have been seeing each other for a while when are you going to ask me out?”.

If someone texts you “thank you” it means he/she wants to just say thank for the work with a plain meaning. And if someone texts you “thank youuuu” it means he/she wants to say thank for the work with an emotional-based meaning i.e. from the bottom of the heart.

“Thank you ❤️” can use any of ☺️ and more. It isn’t an attached meaning, rather is just a reflex suffix to what was being spoken. For example, I sometimes use “thank you ❤️” for people who send me a contact file I requested. It’s that inconsequential, but one can build on it.
