There are many reasons why your Pandora app may be pausing randomly in the middle of songs and podcasts. It could be a Wi-Fi or cell signal issue, or other apps interfering with playback. It could be your phone’s battery saver shutting down your tunes.

Xbox One troubleshooting If that doesn’t help, let’s try uninstalling and reinstalling the Pandora app. Note: you’ll need to be signed into your Xbox Live account. Go to My games & apps from the home screen and highlight Pandora from the list of apps. Press the menu button on your controller.

To play music in the background while you’re using your Xbox console: Launch a music app that supports background music, such as Spotify or Pandora. Once music is playing, launch the game you want to play or app you want to use. Music will keep playing in the background.

Unfortunately, the sound settings of each app are set by the needs of the app and cannot be altered. So, if you are playing a game or using an app that requires sound, the audio from Pandora may pause. It’s not possible for us to override the sound settings, or any other functions of another app.

Go to your Android Settings, then Apps & Notifications, then Pandora. From there, tap Advanced > Battery >Background restriction. You will be prompted to remove the restriction. You can also find helpful steps here.

It sounds like your phone might not be letting background apps run and/or use data. When you turn off your phone, or when another app is running in the foreground, Pandora will move to the background. If your phone is set to aggressively protect battery and/or data usage, it may not be letting background apps run.

Go to My Collection.

1. Free and Pandora Plus listeners, swipe the Shuffle Stations icon bar at the top of your stations list from right to left. Then tap the Pencil that appears.
2. Pandora Premium subscribers will need to filter My Collection further by Stations. Then tap the Pencil to the right of Shuffle stations.

When you have Spotify playing, go back to your game. Then tap the home button and highlight the song playing on the left and tap A. A detailed Spotify menu should pop up for song controls and there will be a sound slider control for volume.

When the game is loaded, pause the game and navigate to “Settings -> Audio.” Select “Perform Full Scan for Music,” and the game starts to process the information, the length of which gets based upon the number of songs in your GTA 5 Custom Music folder.

Audio stops playing on Galaxy mobile devices or accessories

1. Adjust the Battery settings. Open Settings, and then tap Apps.
2. Remove the app from Sleeping apps.
3. Turn off Power saving mode.
4. Adjust the Data saver settings.
5. Adjust playback options.

When you encounter the timeout message, simply click or tap anywhere on the Pandora music player to continue listening. To limit timeouts you can upgrade to Pandora Plus or Pandora Premium, which allow you to listen for longer periods without interruptions.

If you have a battery saver or task manager app, make exceptions for Pandora or try turning it off completely. You can adjust these settings in the App info section of your device. Go to your Android Settings, then Apps & Notifications, then Pandora. From there, tap Advanced > Battery >Background restriction.
